The post ShutterFest 2022 first appeared on Snap Geek Photography.]]> Originally this year I wasn’t planning on attending Shutterfest 2022 in St Louis, MO but I have changed my mind and decided that I will at tend the conference this year after all. The big issue is I haven’t booked models to work with at the event ahead of time like I normally do & don’t have social media to try to plan that at this point in time.

So if you are a model and are going to Shutterfest 2022 please reach out if you would like to work together and capture some amazing photos together. Any models I work with for TFP will be able to use the photos in their portfolio and in trade will sign a release allowing me to use the photos in my own portfolio.

The post ClickCon 2021 is back on first appeared on Snap Geek Photography.]]> ClickCon has announced that they are back on schedule for a 2021 event in Chicago Illinois after previously announcing they were canceling for 2021 as I wrote here. I find it pretty frustrating that they previously canceled this event, canceled all hotel rooms, etc and then later decide to go ahead with it anyways.

As of right now I plan to attend this event in 2021 since I canceled my plans for Shutterfest 2021 after they moved their dates to September which simply do not work out well for me.

ClickCon however remains an extremely expensive event to go attend which may result in 2021 being my first and last year to attend this conference debating what I end up actually getting out of the event. Who knows though, maybe I will enjoy it more than Shutterfest.

Time will tell.

The post TFP Shoot Changes first appeared on Snap Geek Photography.]]> I have decided that I will be implementing a few changes on the way I do TFP (Time for Photos) style shoots for several reasons which I’m not going to get into great detail here.

  1. The model will be asked to sign a release form prior to the shoot. If the model refuses to sign then the photo shoot will not proceed.
  2. The photographer will provide final images to model with watermarks. Images provided without watermarks will be subject to a fee.
  3. I ask that models share the final images they like on their modeling profiles on: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc and tag Snap Geek Photography LLC in said post.
    1. Doing so will help promote and fund me to continue to offer TFP sessions in the future.
    2. Models that fail to meet this requirement might not get the chance to work with me in the future.
  4. The photographer will tag the model in posts posted on social media provided he knows the models social media profiles.
